Oakclan: the clan of tall trees

There was a rustle of leaves as Roseflame (med cat) padded through the entrance with a heap of burdock root in her mouth. The circles under her eyes stood out, and Roseflame stumbled slightly as she walked. Too tired to coordinate, she fell into her apprentice, Dewpaw.

Dewpaw's crystal blue eyes widened as she felt something crashing into her side, the albino she-cat turned her head to look down at Roseflame and quickly took the herbs from her and nudged Roseflame gently aiming to push her up to her paws trying to keep her mentor's balance.

"Are you alright?" Sunblaze asked,noticing the medicine cat stumble onto Dewpaw. Not like she really cared though,because she didn't. She only cared about herself and her race for power,but if this plan was going to work she would have to act like she cared.

Oakstar quickly sat up "Roseflame, what happened?" he meowed helping to nudge her up

Dewpaw carefully placed a paw underneath her mentors chin and gently pushed her head up a little, she looked at her eyes and flicked her ears gently putting the herbs down in front of her paws, "She's tired, she needs some rest."

"Well alright," She said,wishing that she didn't have to play this boring act any more,that she could just unleash her full power. Oh how much she would've liked to do that. Anyways she remembered that she needed to go hunting,so without a word she padded out of camp,alert for the sounds of paws moving,and leaves crackling.

"I'm fine," Roseflame mumbled, shooing away the supporting paws. "I was just getting some... tansy..." Her voice wavered as she slowly and carefully sunk to the ground, her eyes closing. She let out a sigh of relief, and within a second she was fast asleep.

Whisperbreeze woke up and crawled out of the warriors den. Just another day, he thought to himself, and began wondering around for something to do.

"Hello Whisperbreeze." Oakstar called quickly "I need you and Falconleaf to run the camp for now, I'm going hunting."

Whisperbreath let out a faint cheer. "We'll take good care of the clan!" the tom mewed proudly, as if Oakstar were leaving permanently. Who could blame him? After all, it was his first time with such a responsibility.

Sunblaze smirked,this would be a good chance at proving that I'm 'pure of heart' to the others. Then they'll have to believe me when I,I mean the rouges kill Oakstar. It was a good plan,but it wasn't ready yet and if she attempted to do it now,it would fail,so she just sat,waiting to strike.

Oakstar quickly padded off in the direction of the mother tree, the tallest tree in the forest, in hopes of finding a few squirrels and birds

Whisperbreeze shot a quick glance around the clan, searching for anything that might have been out of place.

Dewpaw looked at her mentor and sighed grabbed her by her scruff and struggled to carry her into the med den. DewPaw lay RoseFlame down in her nest and pushed the moss up against her mentor before padding out of the den again and heading to the fresh-kill pile disappointed to see how small the prey were, she sighed and dipped her head grabbing a scrawny sparrow from the pile and sat infront of the med den chewing on her prey.

Silverpaw woke up and groomed herself. When she was done she padded out of the apprentice den, trying to find something to do.
