| Not as dense as ThunderClan's, but RiverClan's small forest is home to birds and mice, as well as many other scattered creeks and/or ponds. | |

| Fallenbirch stalked carefully through the undergrowth, eyeing a plump pigeon in her sights. She licked her chops at the thought of the cats that could feed. She was ready to leap when a twig snapped from behind. | |

"Oh, uh... Hi Fallenbirch." Batwing greeted. He saw the pigeon fly away into the sky above. "Oh, did I do that? Oh I'm so sorry!" Batwing looked down, embarrassed.

Fallenbirch sighed, watching the pigeon fly. She glanced over at the jet black-and-gray tom and smiled kindly.
"Thats alright," she meowed. "Why don't we both hunt together so then we don't scare off the prey?" Before the warrior could answer, she bounced away deeper into the forest. She stopped when she spotted a water vole nibbling on a seed near a creek. I didn't remember this being here before... She thought, but put the thought aside. She was about to pounce when something headbutted her shoulder. Fallenbirch gasped as she fell to the ground and skidded a few feet away, the breath knocked out of her. She saw the shape of a dog, it's long and skinny muzzle wrinkled in a snarl.

Batwing lacerated the back of the dog's pelt before being thrown off into the creek below. He jumped back out and tackled the dog unbalancing it.

| Fallenbirch watched in shock as Batwing grappled the beast. The dog howled and attempted to shake him off again, but the brave tom clung on. Fallenbirch yowled in anger and launched herself at the dog's head. She landed on it's face and raked both her back claws down it's eyes. The dog howled and whipped her off it's head, sending her flying into the trunk of the tree. She slithered down to the ground, knocked unconsious. (FYI, the dog can't see now X3) | |

"Fallenbirch!" Batwing yelled in anguish. He was suddenly filled with anger seeing his only friend being thrown against a tree. Batwing jumped off the dog and back onto the beasts neck. He slashed with every bit of energy he had left, but it was futile. The dogs neck was too thick. He jumped off once more and saw the wounded dog trembling about everywhere. Batwing took his chance and knocked it into the creek beside the scene.

| Fallenbirch felt herself coming to. Her head throbbed and her body ached. Stupid mutt... she thought. Though her vision was unfocused, she saw Batwing staring at the dog, which was laying in the creek. The dog whimpered with pain as it stumbled off into the distance. Fallenbirch grunted as she tried to stand. She shook out her pelt and padded over to Batwing.
"Are you okay?" she meowed as she approached.

| "I'm fine," Fallenbirch lied. The last thing she needed was Batwing limping around, trying to help her. She just hit a tree while Batwing nearly got mauled. Fallenbirch scanned the clearing and spotted a patch of ferns with a hollowed out center that was filled with lush, green, growing moss.
"Lay down in there," Fallenbirch ordered. "I'm going to try to get some cobwebs or something to fix up those scracthes." Fallenbirch padded off to a hollowed out log and grabbed as many of the cobwebs as she could, sticking the wads onto her thick pelt so she could pick some dock and marigold as well. She grabbed the leaves and then padded back to the fern patch.

| Fallenbirch purred with amuzment as she tried to remember what Berryglow had done when she had gotten cut by a tree branch. Fallenbrich squirted the dock onto the slashes. Then, she chewed up the marigold into a pulp and smeared it over the scratches as well, finishing it off with a layer of cobwebs. By the time she was finished, her head was pounding. She stumbled to where some scattered poppy seeds sat. She grabbed enough for her and Batwing and she padded back to the patch, where she lapped up her dose and gave the rest to Batwing. | |

| Fallenbirch placed a paw in between the tom's shoulder blades and looked at the sky. She frowned; Batwing was too weak to make it to camp and it was sunset. She looked back down at the tom, sighing.
"It's nearly sundown. Besides, I don't think you could make it back to camp without ripping off all of my hard work." Fallenbirch purred the last part. She settled down beside him, snuggling up to his side and resting her head on her paws and falling asleep, enjoying the feeling of the heat of another cat against her side

| Batwing smiled at the comment. "Alright" he said softly as he drifted asleep beside her. | |

| The next morning Fallenbirch yawned the next morning, feeling Batwing's pelt softly rising and falling beside her. She yawned and carefully got to her paws and crept out. She shivered at the dew dampening her legs. She grabbed some herbs and grabbed them from the bushes and grabbed some cobwebs on the way back. She got back and gently took off the dressings on Batwing's body and replaced them with the new stuff. She then went out to the creek and hunted some fish. | |

| Batwing woke up. He groaned as he got up but managed. He slowly walked out of the make-shift den and looked around. He saw Fallenbirch fishing in the creek. He walked towards her to help with fishing. "Hi, Fallenbirch... Uh, mind if I fish with ya?" | |

| Fallenbirch looked over in surprise. "You need to rest. Go back to the nest," Fallenbirch meowed sternly, then she added more softly. "I've got it here." She pointed her tail over to the pile (4) plump fish. She flashed out a paw and another flopped onto the pile. She bit it's spine and it fell limp and she picked up the bundle and left one on the ground for Batwing to pick up for himself. | |

| Fallenbirch nodded and padded back to the makeshift den, stacking up the fish into a mini fresh kill pile and eating one for herself. | |
